It’s been a minute since I’ve blogged and for that I apologize. TGB is on the move and I’ve been crazy busy and had the nerve to get sick
Thank you all for your prayers. Now, let’s get down to our weight issues. I hope everyone is well and on track. I’m starting something kind of crazy, but under my doctors care, I know it will work for me.
I’m tired of staring at all my clothes in the closet! So, I just started a 500 Calorie Diet for 3 weeks to jump start my weight loss. I went to a doctor to talk to them about my weight issues and she told me something surprising. When I work out, I go all out. Jumping, girating, jiggling, THE WORKS! (LOL) My doctor told me that for my particular body and the health issues I have. I was actually putting my body under stress when I exercised and raising my cortisol levels. In return, my results have been extremely slow. She told me to stop all the girating (LOL again) and focus on walking.
To jump start my weight loss she has me on a 6 week Program. 500 Calories the first 3 weeks and 1500 the next 3 weeks. Then I will gradually increase my intake to no more than 2500 Calories a day to maintain with exercise.
Here what I eat on my 3 Week 500 Calorie Diet:
Any quantity of Water, Tea, or Coffee (No Sugar or any type of sweetner)
Breakfast: Tea and 1/2 Piece of Fruit
Snack: The other half of fruit I saved from breakfast
Lunch: A handful of salad with a handful of grilled chicken. (No salad dressing, but you can do a vinegar oil)
Dinner: A handful of any type of meat and a vegetable.
Dessert: 1 Piece of Fruit
No Sugar and No Carbs
So far, so good. I wanted to share that with you because I told my brother Greg that the group was going to think I had plastic surgery losing weight that quickly. This diet is not for everyone, but please refer to our disclaimer.
Be Blessed Nicole
You go Girl! You can do it! Walking is the best form of exercise that is how I lost my first 30 plus pounds by just walking and taking extra step though out the day. You have less chance of injuries. I’ve got to work more on my diet; I do too much skipping meals. It is not get to skip it slows the metabolism down.

I just want to say thanks for the info and for sharing. I had given up on really working hard on weight loss. Figured oh, well, what’s the use. But to see you guys really working and sharing has given me the incentive to try again … especially the confession Friday’s. I thought I was the only one with a sweet tooth problem. Thanks again, it feels great not to feel alone.
